Adding Video Game Swords to Your Collection
When I decided to buy game swords, it wasn’t something that I had been planning on doing. It wasn’t that I didn’t like swords – in fact, I am a collector. However, game swords were not on my list of priorities when it came to collecting. I had always been a fan of the historical replicas and fantasy swords (you know – the stuff by sword makers like Kit Rae). I didn’t even realize how popular game swords had become. Then I saw a replica of Link’s sword from The Legend of Zelda. I cherished this game as a child, and I have played nearly all of the iterations since its inception. It was the first videogame that reminded me of the tabletop RPGs that I was discovering around the same time. So, I ended up with my first game sword, and come to find out, there are a lot of very cool replicas that I would love. Who would have thought?
